There are several types of LFCA memberships. Please read through the benefits of each below to decide which one works best for you.
LFCA Competition Team Membership
For cooks and teams who want to compete in LFCA-sanctioned events. Competition Team Membership is required to compete and to earn points toward Team of the Year and World Championship qualifications.

LFCA Competition Team Membership is issued per team, not per individual. Each team must register with a designated head cook, who serves as the official team representative for membership, points, and event eligibility.
LFCA Judge / Organizer Membership
Judge / Organizer Membership is for those who want to help evaluate the best in BBQ and live fire at LFCA-sanctioned events. Members are eligible to serve as judges and be part of the official scoring process.

Membership is required to judge or organize LFCA-sanctioned events.
LFCA Creator Memberships
LFCA’s creator program is for creators who live and breathe BBQ and live fire. It gives rising creators a way to get involved, make connections and be part of the action.
Creator Member
For creators who want to be part of the LFCA community and grow within it.
$50/year

Please Note: Creator Members do not receive automatic access to VIP experiences, private events, or premium activations. Those opportunities can be earned through participation, professionalism, contribution, and ongoing involvement with LFCA.
Creator Membership does not replace Competition Team or Judge / Organizer Membership. Members who want to compete, judge, organize or earn points must also hold the appropriate LFCA Competition Team or Judge / Organize Membership.
Featured Creator
For creators who are showing up, creating strong content, and making an impact in the live fire world.
Apply to become a Featured Creator. Approved applicants may join for $100/year.
- Everything included in Creator Member
- Priority consideration for select creator opportunities
- Expanded event access when approved
- Eligibility for featured placement and collaborations
- Consideration for select VIP experiences
Application Required: Featured Creator applications are reviewed by LFCA. Tier placement and event access are based on content quality, audience reach, engagement, professionalism, volunteerism, and overall contribution to the live fire community. LFCA Creator Members can earn expanded opportunities over time through active participation, volunteering, and support of LFCA events.
LFCA Flame Keepers
Reserved for top-tier creators and industry leaders.
Invitation only – $150/year
- Official LFCA Flame Keeper Membership
- Premium recognition within LFCA
- Invitation-only access to select VIP experiences
- Priority consideration for special events and activations
- Custom opportunities with LFCA and partners
- Eligible to compete in LFCA-sanctioned events
- Eligible to earn points toward Team of the Year
- Eligible to earn points toward World Championship qualification

Please note: Flame Keeper Membership is extended by invitation and approved by LFCA. Annual dues confirm participation and help support the association and its events.
Flame Keepers may compete, judge, organize, and earn points, but may not judge any event in which they are competing. All judging and competition participation is subject to LFCA rules, eligibility requirements, and conflict-of-interest standards.
